Because all parties involved in HIV and AIDS work together in this and the project was set up by and for those involved in Curaçao, we think we have a good chance of success.
Goal.
One of the goals of Fundashon Plons Korsou is to provide the population of Curaçao with information about the HIV and AIDS problem. In this way we contribute to reducing the number of new HIV infections.

Project plan.
The foundations Plons Kòrsou and Knowledge Foundation Plons Kòrsou were established on 17 July 2020.
Now that the foundations have been established, the board positions have been filled and the first meetings have taken place, it is time to take concrete steps to achieve the objectives of the foundations.
The aim of the foundations (and also of this project) is to provide the population of Curaçao with information about the HIV/AIDS problem.
By educating people correctly, based on facts, you can combat stigma and discrimination, but also ensure that people take precautions and patients receive the right treatment.
Communication tools need to be developed to communicate in a correct, professional and authoritative manner.
The first is to ensure that messages are always sent from the same sender. This requires a name and a clear logo.
Secondly, a central platform must be developed where basic information about the HIV/AIDS problem is provided and from which communication can take place. This platform will continue to function in the future as a central source of information and from which communication will take place. It is important that the basic information is readily available in several languages, in which Papiamento will function as the main language.
Thirdly, the Facebook and Instagram channels of the foundations will be created and set up, so that they can act as information disseminators, but will mainly serve as a basis for communication processes in collaboration with the website to be developed.
The target group on Curaçao can be approached through smart marketing techniques. The communication campaigns that will be conducted after completing these steps will ensure awareness, engagement and ultimately behavioral change.
